After nearly three decades of unforgettable Halloween seasons, we have made the difficult decision that Nightmare Manor will be closing indefinitely and not be opening for the 2026 Halloween season. As we close this chapter, we want to take a moment to thank every single person who has been part of our journey.

To everyone who walked through our doors, screamed with friends and family, supported our events, and helped make Nightmare Manor a Rochester Halloween tradition—thank you. Your support, enthusiasm, and memories have meant the world to us, and we will always be grateful for the incredible community that grew around this attraction.

While Nightmare Manor’s doors are closing, our passion for the haunted attraction industry continues. That’s why we’re proud to encourage our supporters to experience Nightmare Wharf,

Buffalo’s newest large-scale haunted attraction and immersive Halloween event at the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park.

Nightmare Wharf is an entirely new Halloween experience featuring multiple haunted attractions, immersive environments, dramatic lighting, entertainment, food, drinks, and more throughout the historic Naval Park campus.

Even more meaningful, every visit to Nightmare Wharf helps support the Buffalo Naval Park’s nonprofit mission to preserve and share one of Western New York’s most important historic destinations.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more from Nightmare Wharf as they prepare to open this October. We hope you’ll continue this journey with us and help support an exciting new chapter for Halloween in Western New York.
